At The Life Yoga Studio, we believe that yoga is a holistic practice that can transform your mind, body, and spirit. Our 200hr teacher training program is for anyone wanting to deepen their practice, find a closer connection to themselves, and/or wanting to learn how to teach yoga. 

Our Teacher Training program detailed itinerary and schedule below. Our program is unique in that we will have a heavy emphasis on learning how to teach. 

Upon completion you will receive a certification of completing your 200HR YTT, will have a basic grasp of yoga philosophy, different styles of yoga,  an understanding of how to teach, and a deep connection to what you love about yoga and what your own unique style is.  

We refuse to be affiliated with Yoga Alliance. If you want to hear Katelyn's long rant of why, just ask her. In a nutshell, Yoga Alliance is a MADE UP foundation that acts as a "governing body" over yoga trainings in the USA although it does not actually monitor them and in many ways has crippled the trainings. (Their required structure actually leaves very little room for teaching students how to teach and they have other wildly dogmatic teachings that have no business being in a 200hr class, imo.) 

IMO they take your money and thats about it. 

Our 200hrYTT is designed to give you the most well rounded view of yoga and all it's facets and the tools to set out on your teaching journey, should that be your goal. 

Who can become a yoga teacher? ANYONE. You don't have to have the "perfect" practice to teach. You need a passion and love for yoga, and that's about it. The rest are skills you can easily develop over time.
